The Fortnite community is abuzz with highly credible leaks suggesting that a major crossover with the hit Netflix animated film, “KPop Demon Hunters,” will be the central feature of this year’s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares 2025. Prolific and reliable dataminers have indicated that the collaboration is not just confirmed but will be unusually “stacked,” meaning it will involve more than just the typical character skins.

The animated film, which follows the K-pop girl group HUNTR/X as they secretly hunt demons, has been a global phenomenon since its June 2025 release. Sources close to the development team, including prominent leakers like HypeX and ShiinaBR, claim the collaboration will be one of the main Halloween crossovers, expected to launch around the start of October, coinciding with the beginning of the spooky season.

What to Expect from the HUNTR/X Crossover

The term “stacked” in the context of a Fortnite collaboration suggests a significant content drop that goes beyond the standard Item Shop cosmetics. The core additions are expected to revolve around the main characters and the music that made the film a sensation:

  • Skins: Players can almost certainly expect Outfits for the three main members of the K-pop group HUNTR/X: Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. Given the nature of the film, these skins will likely feature alternate styles, potentially including their standard idol stage attire and their demon hunter black leather outfits. One source also teased a possible reactive skin for Rumi featuring her demon transformation.
  • Emotes and Jam Tracks: Since the franchise is centered on music and dance, the collaboration is heavily rumored to introduce several Jam Tracks from the film’s chart-topping soundtrack, such as “Golden,” “Soda Pop,” and “How It’s Done,” into the game’s Fortnite Festival mode. Corresponding dance emotes with the group’s choreography are also considered a near-guarantee.
  • Gameplay Elements: The biggest surprise for players is the hint that the collaboration is “not just skins.” This suggests new in-game mechanics or items, possibly a new limited-time mode (LTM) like “Demon Rush,” a K-pop-themed variant of the popular Horde Rush mode. Mythic versions of the girls’ signature demon-slaying weapons—Rumi’s Geom (sword), Mira’s Gok-do (polearm), and Zoey’s Shin-kal (kunai-like knives)—could also be introduced as temporary, powerful loot.
